North Wales Dementia Strategy Event

09/09/2019

21 November 2019, 9.30 am to 3pm. Theatr Clwyd

Lunch is included.

Have your say about the North Wales Dementia Strategy

This event is open to everyone affected by dementia. Numbers are limited so please book your place soon. We’ll reserve places to make sure we have good representation from people living with dementia, carers, staff and volunteers from health, social services, third and independent sector, voluntary and community organisations.

The plan for the day

We’ll share what we’ve found out about the need for services in North Wales, including research and statistics, what people have told us so far and how services work at the moment. Then we’ll work together to agree what should happen next.

We’re working to make the event as accessible as possible, including a quiet room for people to go to during the day if they need a break. If you have any other requirements please let us know when booking your place.

Sharing good practice

As part of the event we’ll be sharing examples of good practice in dementia care. If you’d like to run a stand at lunchtime to share your examples of good practice please register your interest when booking your place.

If you can’t attend

If you’re not able to attend the event there will be other ways to have a say on the draft strategy and to submit examples of good practice in dementia care. Please contact sarah.bartlett@denbighshire.gov.uk for details.
