What prevention and protection means to adults at risk and how to respond to a safeguarding concern and support people well.

Lead Organisation: North Wales Safeguarding Board

The North Wales Safeguarding Board have produced a 7 minute briefing about the voice of adults at risk and the safeguarding process.

The briefing includes what prevention and protection means to adults at risk and how to respond to a safeguarding concern and support people well, including at a safeguarding planning meeting.

In my words, protection involves: getting the help I need; having people on my side; knowing people will help me; not feeling scared all the time; being able to go out again; letting me live my life the way I want.
